Pleasant Valley man gets 25 to life in Poughkeepsie murder

A Pleasant Valley man was sentenced to 25 years to life Thursday morning for the 2010 murder of a Poughkeepsie man in a case that initially led police to focus on the victim's daughter.

Robert Loucks was sentencedby Dutchess County Judge Stephen Greller, the judge's law clerk said Friday. He was convicted of the murder last month.
