Police ID man found hanging in Newburgh as strangler suspect

A man found hanging from a tree in an apparent suicide in a wooded area of Newburgh has been identified as Rosendo Perez-Villalobos, who was wanted on rape, burglary and strangulation charges, Newburgh city police have confirmed.

Police said Perez-Villalobos, 28, had been deported from the United States five times.
