Southeast fire claims house; Brewster rink undamaged

A fire ripped through a house near the Brewster Ice Arena on Wednesday afternoon, but no one was injured and the rink was not damaged, according to employees at the arena.

The fire at 63 Fields Lane in Southeast was reported at 4 p.m., with the Brewster Fire Department arriving a few minutes later.
