Ulster jail inmate had prescription drug stash, cops say

An inmate at the Ulster County Jail faces a felony charge for allegedly keeping a Xanax stash, the Ulster County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

Edgardo D. Jagr, a 44-year-old man from Marlborough, has been at the county jail since Sunday, after cops arrested him for allegedly breaking into a motel in Saugerties and assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
