Ulster man who lost arm, leg after being hit by train still critical

State Police are trying to determine why a 21-year-old Hudson Valley man was on railroad tracks when he was struck by a freight train, severing his right arm and leg.

Troopers say Nick Ogden of the Town of Ulster was found next to the CSX tracks in his hometown around 7 a.m. Saturday. Police say someone on a passing train reported seeing someone near the tracks.
