An Orange County man was killed late Friday night after his car struck a tree in Salisbury Mills, State Police said.

Joseph Hayes, 24, of Washingtonville, was driving east on Route 94 at 11 p.m. when he lost control of his car, veered off the road and struck a large tree on the front lawn of a nearby home, cops said.

Route 94 was closed for several hours after the crash as police investigated....
