Jovan Belcher's friends gathered Saturday at a makeshift shrine outside his childhood home in West Babylon, crying and comforting each other while struggling to make sense of his violent end.
Memorabilia from Belcher's football career decorated the front of the Matthews Avenue home, with mourners bringing autographed Kansas City Chiefs jerseys, posters and balloons.
