Arrested in Middletown Prostitution round up
On August 30, 2012 the City of Middletown Police Department conducted an operation aimed at curbing prostitution in the downtown area.The prostitution arrests are part of the City of Middletown Police Department's ongoing Downtown Clean-Up. City Police are aggressively tackling quality of life crimes. The Police Department's Special Conditions Unit (SCU)made 46 arrests during the period from August 11, 2012 through August 18, 2012 11 of which were for Penal Law offenses and 31 of which were for Middletown City Code offenses. In addition, 106 traffic tickets were issued by the SCU during that time period.
