The Empire State Building has a new LED light system and is putting on quite a performance at night.
The iconic building showed off the new technology with its first-ever show Monday night. The skyscraper lit up with different colors synchronized to two of Alicia Keys' hit songs, "Girl on Fire" and "Empire State of Mind." The singer flipped the switch to start the show.
Viewers had to tune in to a radio station and watch the lights to see how they matched up.
The lighting system features a palette of more than 16 million colors.
