Saw Mill crash
Tony Fortune, 46, of Tinton Avenue, and Shanikka Hunter, 28, of E. 227th St., both of the Bronx, were thrown from a Mercedes-Benz and killed when it collided with a Honda Civic driven by Benjamin Ferder, 23, of New Rochelle. The Mercedes then hit a concrete median separating the northbound lanes, flipped several times and broke apart, leaving a trail of injured bodies, twisted metal and glass along the road, officials said.
