White Plains Neighborhood Conditions Unit

The Neighborhood Conditions Unit is a specialized group of White Plains police officers that patrols the City of White Plains during late and early-morning hours of the day. It has come under fire recently after the fatal police shooting of 68-year-old Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. inside his apartment. Public Safety Commissioner David Chong said changes are likely after a review following several controversial incidents.
