MTA officer stabbed in eye
John Barnett, an MTA police officer from Central Islip, was stabbed in the eye by a knife-wielding Bronx man at the Long Island Rail Road's Jamaica Station on Wednesday morning, MTA officials said. Barnett then shot and killed the assailant. (July 4, 2012)
