Clarkstown supervisor: County lawsuit is insulting

Rockland legislators should have picked up the phone and called elected leaders in Clarkstown before voting to sue over a closed road, Clarkstown Supervisor Alex Gromack said Friday.
On Tuesday night, county legislators voted 15 to 1 to authorize a lawsuit against the town for "illegally barricading" Samuel Road, a short street that spans three blocks and about 1,600 feet.
