New City man pocketed dad's check, DA says
A New City man is accused of stealing almost $5,000 from his dad -- who was also his boss -- the Rockland County district attorney's office said Wednesday.
Amir Choudhry, 27, was working at his father's Main Street gas station when the owner of an auto repair shop, which is attached to the gas station, gave him a check for $4,866 in November 2011, prosecutors said.
