Pearl River accident crushes NJ man, 50
Police say a lift collapsed, crushing the man under a 2,500-pound pallet. (November 30, 2012 6:54 PM)
A 50-year-old man was killed Friday in Pearl River after being crushed underneath a 2,500-pound pallet.
The man, who is reportedly from New Jersey, was helping move a pallet of computer parts off a truck when the lift it was on collapsed.
Paramedics were able to remove the pallet, but the man died after being taken to Nyack Hospital....
