A 48-year-old woman was found dead in a room at a West Nyack motel Thursday, police said.

MaryEllen Robinson, of Pearl River, was found a little after 11 a.m. by a staff member at the Nyack Motor Lodge on Route 303, Clarkstown police Sgt. JoAnne Fratianni said in a statement Friday.

Robinson was declared dead at 11:22 a.m., police said, and her body was turned over to the Rockland County...
