Piermont to be site of Rockland's first food swap

Homemade and homegrown foods are traded among participants

A food swap where cooks and food lovers can trade homemade or homegrown foods, a first of its kind for Rockland County, will take place at the Piermont Reformed Church from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Participants can bring up to 12 food items to swap. There's no need to have prior food swap experience; the process will be explained before food is traded.
