Rockland threatens to sue Clarkstown over closed road

A feud between a handful of Rockland County legislators and Clarkstown Supervisor Alex Gromack could lead the cash-strapped county to sue Clarkstown.

By a vote of 15 to one, Rockland legislators on Tuesday night authorized the county attorney to sue Clarkstown for "illegally barricading" Samuel Road, a short street that spans three blocks and no more than 1,600 feet.
