Sen. Carlucci visits Piermont family still reeling from Sandy
State Sen. David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) speaks to the media outside the flood-damaged home of Veronica and James Artrip in Piermont. He focused on families in the region who have struggled with slow-moving insurance companies in the 2 1/2 months since Hurricane Sandy roared through the region. The Artrips and their grandson James Hill, who also lives in the home, say the home is infested with mold and other health hazards from the flooding caused by the superstorm. (Jan. 16, 2013)
