State looking for locals' help with turkey study

The state is putting out a call throughout the Hudson Valley for turkey-loving property owners who want to help increase the New York's gobbler population.
With the number of wild turkeys in decline in the past decade, the state Department of Environmental Conservation said it has launched a four-year project to catch and tag the female birds, known as hens.
