A nearly half-mile stretch of Strawtown Road in West Nyack has been reopened after a morning accident involving a truck that hit a utility poll was cleared, police said.
The driver, an employee of United Water Co., lost control of the company truck about 7:45 a.m. and hit a utility pole in the vicinity of the West Nyack firehouse, according to Clarkstown Police Officer Kieran Dwyer.
