Vanderhoef vetoes parts of Rockland budget, saves cop jobs

Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef on Wednesday vetoed items in the amended 2013 budget passed by the county Legislature last week, including changes that would have saved 70 county jobs from the chopping block, while restoring 14 law enforcement jobs.
