Cuomo will push new gun laws, but special legislative session unlikely

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said Thursday he doesn’t plan to call a special session of the state Legislature to deal with guns laws in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., school shootings, but he will unveil “a full package” of proposals in his State of the State address on Jan. 9.
