If Ray Rice wasn't already the pride of New Rochelle, he certainly will be for at least the next two weeks.
The Baltimore Ravens' Pro Bowl running back, who starred at New Rochelle High School, is on his way to Super Bowl XLVII after the Ravens upset the New England Patriots 28-13 in Sunday's AFC championship game.
Baltimore will face the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 3 in New Orleans.

The Ravens are playing in their first Super Bowl since winning their only Lombardi Trophy following the 2000 season. The 49ers, who have won five world titles, will appear in their first Super Bowl in 18 years.
"Bmore we made it," Rice tweeted shortly after the game, adding, "#ravensnation we love y'all."
Although Rice, 25, endured some struggles against the Patriots -- rushing for 48 yards on 19 carries -- he did score Baltimore's first touchdown on a 2-yard run in the second quarter. In the regular season, Rice rushed for 1,143 yards and nine touchdowns and had 61 receptions for 478 yards and another TD.
The victory over New England was particularly sweet for Rice and the Ravens. In last year's AFC title game, Baltimore missed a 32-yard field goal against the Patriots that would have sent the game into overtime.
Baltimore's victory, meanwhile, blocked another Hudson Valley product from returning to the Super Bowl: Patriots cornerback Devin McCourty, Rice's college teammate at Rutgers, is from Nanuet.
