State orders Indian Point contingency plan
NEWS12 WESTCHESTER: The New York State Public Service Commission is setting a Feb. 1 deadline for Con Edison and the New York Power Authority to prepare contingency plans for the possible shutdown of the Indian Point nuclear power plant. (Nov. 28, 2012)
The plant's reactors generate up to 25 percent of New York City's electricity needs.
