A pilot and a passenger were rescued Sunday evening after a small plane crashed into the Hudson River off Yonkers, police said.

Yonkers Police Commissioner Charles Gardner said the plane went down about 200 yards off the Yonkers Marina near JFK Memorial Drive and that the occupants, a 43-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, were being treated for hypothermia.
