A burst pipe caused ceilings to collapse in a large apartment building in Mamaroneck on Sunday, said Fire Chief Robert Pecchia.

"We had a major water leak, it looks like," Pecchia said. "Ceilings down. Imagine Sheetrock all falling down and being all over the place."
