Croton arboretum walk to focus on preventing storm damage to trees

Learn about trees and storm damage during the Jane E. Lytle Memorial Arboretum's 8th annual Winter Tree Walk scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday in Croton-on-Hudson.

Arborist Craig Stevens will lead the walk and along the way talk about how to prevent storm damage, why pruning is critical in the aftermath of damage and which trees to avoid planting in the first place.
