Cruiser damaged in I-87 police chase

A chase down Interstate 87 Thursday morning ended in the Bronx with the arrest of at least one person, police said.

The incident began around 9:20 when a vehicle drove into a State Police cruiser near the Yonkers toll booths and sped off southbound, State Police at Tarrytown said.

Police gave pursuit and stopped the vehicle at 230th Street in the Bronx. No one was injured, police said.
