FEMA Sandy aid deadline is Monday

Those hoping to apply for federal aid in the aftermath of superstorm Sandy are down to a precious few days to get it done, officials said.

The deadline to apply for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency is Monday.

FEMA offers assistance to individuals and families whose property was damaged or destroyed by Sandy and whose losses are not covered entirely by their insurance.
