Greenburgh Academy evacuated after school bus fire

A school bus fire Thursday morning prompted the evacuation of the Greenburgh Academy, which is temporarily housed on the Abbott House campus in Irvington, officials said.
The bus, operated by the Mar-Can Transportation Company in Mount Vernon, had already dropped off students at Greenburgh Academy when the fire appeared to start under the hood, Irvington police Sgt. Andrew Bessinger said....
