The Harrison School District is appealing the loss of some $46,000 in state aid, calling for the state Education Department to deem its application on time after all.
Harrison was among just six school districts statewide, including New York City, that did not receive approval of their teacher evaluation plans -- required to qualify for additional state aid -- by the Jan. 17 deadline.
