Hastings church collects toys for Yonkers

St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Hastings is collecting gifts for the children of St. Peter's parish in Yonkers as well as children in the Staten Island neighborhood most devastated in Hurricane Sandy.

New, unwrapped gifts can be dropped into the collection box at the rear of the church, 616 Warburton Ave. Donors who want their toys to go to Staten Island should tag them as such....
