The makeover of Hastings-on-Hudson's industrial waterfront into a public green space with restaurants, residences and retail shops takes a huge leap forward on Nov. 28, when the village unveils a proposal for laying out the area's infrastructure.
"This is not a theoretical exercise. This is real," said a jubilant Mayor Peter Swiderski. "This is what we've been dreaming about for 15 years."
