Hudson Valley electric utilities are shoring up their defenses against cyberattacks after at least two national defense vulnerability alerts, a presidential executive order to create a "cybersecurity framework" and the breach of a Poughkeepsie utility in which hackers gained entry to as many as 110,000 customer accounts.
