An on-ramp was closed on Interstate 287/Cross County Parkway eastbound at Exit 9A in Harrison to Interstate 684/Westchester Avenue, causing a rush-hour traffic backup Tuesday morning.

The cause of the lane closure was unclear.

Elsewhere, light snow was slowing traffic on the Tappan Zee Bridge and the New York State Thruway....
