NEWS 12 WESTCHESTER: Some Yorktown residents are expressing their concerns for the helipad after a small plane crashed on IBM's property in April. (August 20, 2012) (August 20, 2012 9:43 PM)

The Yorktown Planning Department is considering a proposal to build a helicopter landing pad on the IBM property in Yorktown.

The helipad would be built near the main entrance to the Thomas J. Watson Research Center off of Route 134.

Some neighbors are concerned for their safety, citing a small plane crash back in April on IBM's property.
