John M. Dolce, longtime White Plains DPS commissioner, dead at 83

Longtime White Plains Department of Public Safety Commissioner John M. Dolce, 83, of White Plains, died Monday at White Plains Hospital.
Dolce served in that position for more than 26 years -- and as deputy commissioner for a decade before that -- before retiring in January 2002. He was the longest-tenured commissioner in the history of the department.
