Family and friends Saturday marked the one-year anniversary of the shooting death of a former Marine at the hands of White Plains police.

Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. was fatally shot last year after police responded to his apartment because of a medical alert call. Police opened fire on the 68-year-old because he came at them with a knife, authorities claimed.
