Mount Vernon group plans World AIDS Day forum

A conference to spread awareness of AIDS and prevent the incidence of HIV among the city's youth will be held in Mount Vernon Friday.

The Mount Vernon World AIDS Day Youth Council will host its 9th annual World AIDS Day Education and Prevention event from 3 to 6 p.m., city officials announced Wednesday.
