A Mount Vernon man was arrested early Sunday morning after he allegedly choked his girlfriend following a domestic dispute, police said.

David D. Henry, 30, twice tried to choke his 34-year-old live-in girlfriend and was repulsed when she struck him with an iron and stabbed him with a knife, according to a Mount Vernon city news release.
