Mount Vernon set to raze 4 'blighted' buildings Monday

The Mount Vernon Buildings Department is ready to raze four "blighted" buildings Monday, including one stalled by a multiyear legal tussle, the city announced.

"Everything is finally in place to rid the city of these blighted properties littering their neighborhoods," Mayor Ernest D. Davis said in a statement.
