Talks between Con Edison and striking utility workers inched forward last night, with the company agreeing to provide union leadership with key documents when talks resume on Friday.

Union spokesman John Melia said Con Edison had agreed to provide documents detailing company proposals on compensation and health care benefits Friday morning, when talks are scheduled to resume.
