Carmel fire claimed four lives
The investigation into what started the Carmel fire that killed Larchmont Police Capt. Thomas Sullivan, his wife and their two teenage daughters could take weeks and there is no reason to believe a crime was committed, a fire official said today.
"The investigation is ongoing with multiple Putnam County agencies," said Capt. Dan Tompkins of the Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services....
