Hospital union leaders and local elected officials staged a news conference Monday morning to criticize cuts and other changes at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
The hospital previously said that layoffs and program cuts would to help it close a $60 million budget gap. Leaders at Monday's conference said all those cuts are affecting patients and critical care at the hospital.
