Employees from dozens of companies at the Gateway Building on North Lexington Avenue evacuated their offices Thursday following an oil spill.

White Plains fire officials say oil leaked from an emergency generator on the roof of 1 North Lexington Ave. It's not clear what caused the leak or how much oil spilled, but an emergency spill response crew cleaned it up.
