Forecast

With only a handful of homes and businesses without power, Orange & Rockland Utilities said Saturday that hurricane restoration efforts were almost complete.

The company reported 75 outages in Rockland County and 71 outages in Orange County as of early afternoon, down from more than 250,000 outages on Oct. 29, at the height of Hurricane Sandy's destructive run.
