Students from Colonial School in Pelham recently made Valentine's Day cards for residents of Sound Shore Medical Center's Schaffer Extended Care Center as part of their community service project.

The student government project was open to the entire student body -- kindergarten through fifth graders, according to a Sound Shore Medical Center news release Thursday.
