Pleasantville officially opens new rec center Saturday
The Pleasantville Recreation Department has scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony for noon Saturday to introduce residents to the village's new recreation center at 48 Marble Ave.
The center, which holds 50 people, is housed in the old ambulance corps building, vacated when medics moved to a station provided by the Town of Mount Pleasant.
