Police: Mamaroneck woman, 86, found dead in her apartment

Investigators are collecting evidence after an 86-year-old woman was found dead in her Mamaroneck apartment.

Police say one of the victim's family members made the disturbing discovery at 117 New St. just before 12 p.m. Sunday.

The Westchester County Crime Scene Unit are also on hand, collecting bags of what appeared to be evidence.
